Pinal says that her recipe of Ragda Puri is her own innovation. She says that this recipe of Ragda Puri is very healthy as it made from sprouts and very tasty as both sweet and spicy chutneys are used . Ragda Puri is easy to make also. Ragda Puri is best as evening snacks.
INGREDIENTS TO MAKE RAGDA PURI
The ingredients mentioned below serves 2 persons
INGREDIENTS FOR MAKING RAGDA
- 1/2 cup dry peas
- 1 cup sprouted each of moong, gram, math
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp each dhaniya powder, red chili powder and garam masala
- 2 pieces of chilies
- 1 inch of ginger piece
- 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds
- pinch if asafoetedia (hing)
- 1/2 tsp mustardseeds
- 1 piece each of potato, tomato
INGREDIENTS FOR MAKING PAKODA
- 1/2 cup of rava
- 1 tsp all purpose flour (maida)
- 1/2 tsp oil
- 1/4 cup warm water

STEP 1
- Soak dry peas for five hours
- Now, Soak moong, math and gram for 6 hours and let them sprout
STEP 2
- Add turmeric, salt to soaked peas and cook it in the cooker
- Also add turmeric, salt to sprouted pulses and cook it in the cooker as well
- Now, take a saucepan(kadhai) add oil, cumin, asafoetedia and turmeric and give it a tadka
STEP 3
- Add boiled peas, sprouted pulses and tomato to kadhai
- Grate a boiled potato and add it to the kadhai
HOW TO MAKE PURI
STEP 4
- Mix rava, maida, oil, salt, warm water and prepare a dough
- Dough should be like paratha dough
- Cover this dough for about 25-30 minutes
- Mkae small balls of equal size from the dough
STEP 5
- Roll the dough balls in round puri shape
- Put some oil in a pan and fry it
- Puri is ready
STEP 7
- Now your recipe is ready to serve
- Serve puri with mixed gravy of pulses along with sweet chutney, green chutney, onion and sev 😋😋
