INGRIDIENTS(ઘટકો)

( measurements in cup)

1 cup Wheat flour

1/2 cup White Maize flour

Jower flour 1/2 cup

1/2 cup Pearl millet flour

2 tblsp Rice flour

2 tblsp Gram flour

1 cup fine chopped Spring Onion

1/2 cup fine chopped Coriander

1/2 cup yoghurt

3 tblsp Jaggery

Other Masalas..

2 tblsp sesame seeds

2 tblsp oil

1 tblsp Chilli Ginger Garlic Paste

Carom Seeds 1 tsp

1 tblsp Red Chilli Powder

Cumin-Coriander Powder 1 tblsp

1 tsp Turmeric Powder

1 tblsp Salt or as per taste

1/2 tsp Asafoetida

2 tblsp water (if Required) Oil as required for roasting theplas

STEPS TO MAKE MULTIGRAIN FLOUR SPRING ONION THEPLA

STEP 1

Sieve all the flour in a big steel container.

STEP 2

Firstly clean the spring Onion cut it and finely chop it in a chopper. Now add all the ingredients in the flour along with chopped coriander n Spring Onion n oil. Mix them well. Add yoghurt, jaggery mixture n combined.. Try to make a dough. if necessary, add little water. Make sure Spring Onion n Coriander has their own water content, so try to make the hard dough and give it a rest for ten minutes, The dough will be soft after resting.

STEP 3

After giving a rest to the dough, make an Equal portion from it. Take one portion n roll it with the help of dry flour. Heat the tawa, Place the thepla on it, spread the required amount of oil n roast it until light brown in colour.

STEP 4

Continue the same procedure to complete all the theplas and arrange them in a tray.
