Idli Fry: A New Twist


Description of the recipe by the author: Idli Fry, this is my mummyโ€™s recipe which I have recreated and I have made it yummy. its made from left over idlies. . Its made with very few ingredients as mentioned . this recipe is best for breakfast as well as dinner too.

CATEGORY: SOUTH INDIAN

INGRIDIENTS:

  1. Idli
  2. Coriander leaves
  3. Green Chilies
  4. Red Chili Powder
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 2-3 tbsp Oil
  7. Mustard Seeds
  8. Sesame seeds

HOW TO MAKE

STEP 1:

1.1 First cut the prepared idli into small cubes as shown in the pic.

1.2 Now Chop some washed coriander and green chilies nicely.

2.1Now Sprinkle some red chili powder on the idlies which r cut into cubes.

2.2 Also Add little salt on it as per taste.

2.3 Now put some oil in a pan and heat the oil and then add mustard seeds, hing, green chillies, curry leaves and sesame seeds allow it to crackle.

STEP 3

3.1 Now add idli cubes in oil and stir it for five minutes.

3.2 Add chopped coriander leaves on it

3.3 Serve it hot with coconut chutney or any masala. your yummy idli fry is ready to eat!!
