Basically, burfi can be made in different varieties, but this one is the simplest form of burfi recipe with very less ingredients and also with perfect taste and texture.
The recipe of burfi is given to us by dhruti punch.Dhruti has learnt this recipe from her aunty who also loves making sweets.This is one of the simplest recipe so everyone who loves sweet can definitely give a try.
INGREDIENTS
- Maida 2 cups
- Sugar 2 cups
- Saffron 5-6 strands
- Milk 1_2 tsp
- Ghee 1 cup
- Pistachios 10_12

STEPS TO MAKE BURFI
STEP 1
Pour 1 cup ghee and 2 cups maida into a kadhai.Keep mixing on low flame for 20-25 minutes until it has a light sweet smell.
STEP 3
Take a tin tray, spread butter paper and sprinkle pistachios all over it.
STEP 4
Take 1 spoon of milk and sprinkle a little kesar into it. Add this saffron milk into the mixture. You can also add mango pulp for extra taste. Add 2 cups of sugar and keep mixing for 5-10 more minutes.
STEP 5
Spread the mixture onto the tin tray and spread it. Keep in the fridge to set for 1 hour.
STEP 6
Cut into pieces
