Fada lapsi recipe is made by saheli falguni chauhan. Falguni says that as Indians we should respect our traditions and values. INGREIDIENTS FOR FADA LAPSI
Shredded 1 cup wheat
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup ghee
1 piece of cinnamon
3 cloves
6 nuts
Slice 1/3 cup almond pistachios
3 cups water
2 tablespoons khas khas
STEPS TO MAKE FADA LAPSI
STEP 1
First, turn on the gas and add ghee to the pan. Roast all dry fruits of your choice like cinnamon pieces, cloves, almond pieces. Sauté all this, now add shredded wheat in ghee and roast till it becomes like semi-dark and also the fragrance of roasted wheat is felt
STEP 2
Now , add heated water and cover with a lid because this will allow wheat to cook fast. keep the gas flame in simmer for few minutes and keep stirring in between to avoid sticking the wheat at the base. The heated water will help the wheat to cook and so there will be no water.
STEP 3
After 15 minutes, turn up and down the lapsi and now add jaggery. Mix jaggery firmly into the fada and simmer again for 10 minutes. So after 10 minutes the fada will rise in volume and will leave the base of the vessel.
STEP 4
Now turn off the gas and mix it well. Serve in a dish and garnish with almonds, pistachios, and khas khas. sweet is ready.

Generally i used to cook in cooker with 5-6 whistle.
