Pizza Paratha by Chef Dhruti Punch
Dhruti says that she has learnt this recipe from her mother-in-law. Dhruti believes in the quote by Margaret Fuller “If you have knowledge, let other light their candles in it” and hence today she is sharing this wonderful fusion recipe with her friends at Super Saheliya. So let us get started😋😋
INGREDIENTS
The below mentioned ingredients serves 2 people
FOR DOUGH
- Wheat flour (गेहूं का आटा) – 1 cup
- All-purpose flour (मैदा) – 1 cup
- Oil ( तेल) – 2 tsp
- Salt (नमक) – 1/2 tsp
- Water (पानी)
FOR FILLING
- Potato (आलू )
- Frozen Corns (कॉर्न्स)
- Carrot (गाजर)
- Capsicum (शिमला मिर्च)
- Salt (नमक)
- Oregano +Chili flakes (ऑरेगैनो+चिली फ्लेक्स)
- Black pepper powder (काली मिर्च पाउडर)
HOW TO MAKE PIZZA PARATHA
STEP 1
- In a bowl, add wheat flour, all purpose flour, oil and salt
- Mix it and bind the dough by adding water in it
- Apply Oil on the dough, keep it aside for 20-25 mins
STEP 2
- For filling, take a bowl, add some boiled and mashed potatoes, ground frozen corns, finely chopped carrot, capsicum, salt, oregano, chili flakes & black pepper powder.
- Mix them all then put some pizza sauce and mix it as well.
STEP 3
- Make the dough balls of same size and roll them
- Put a cheese slice on a rolled chapati, then put vegetable filling, apply water to its edges and fold it into a square shape
- Now roll it and roast it on the saucepan (tawa) with ghee/butter/oil
STEP 4
- On the another rolled chapati, and the potato and cheese filling
- Apply water to its edges and fold it in a triangular shape
- Roast it on saucepan (tawa)
